Knowledge and Rehabilitation Organization (KRO) is a national level, non-political, non-profitable, non-governmental organization working for humanitarian and rehabilitation roots in Afghanistan. KRO is an Afghan organization that is committed to the development of the local economy and building local capacity for sustainable development.
Under the direct supervision of the VST specialist, the incumbents will be responsibly for running the
Vocational skill training lecturer-related activity including planning, communications, teaching
& progressing one specific vocation class, which specific male classes are: (motorbike repairing,
carpentry, submersible (water pump) repairing & solar PV system).
Duties & Responsibilities:
Overall daily teaching and management of the Vocational Training Centers including but
not limited to: preparation of lectures materials, providing assignments, practical work, and
trainees progress and evaluation each month; ensuring to have all the required training
materials tools equipment of good quality and sufficient quantity.
Daily monitor and follow-up on the trainee’s attendance and training quality and
performance. Including follow-up on the use of lesson plans and curricula.
Daily monitor and follow-up on the attendance of enrolled participants and students’ progress
drop-outs (reasons for dropping out).
Daily monitor and track of use of training materials (consumable and non-
consumable) and information for new materials request in advance.
Active support to the Market Linkage Officer in the maintenance and update of the
national TVET (AVI) platform.
Any other vocational training activity determined necessary by the VST specialist during
the implementation of the project.
Acknowledge/clarify instructions related to manual tasks designed by the supervisor.
Communicate needs to effectively carry out manual tasks.
Sequence and prioritize deliverables ensuring established delivery timeframes.
Representation of the project within communities and government and private
stakeholders.

Participate in training workshops meetings project events held in any province.
Visit project sites and monitor all activities
Respect and adore all policies of the KRO code of conduct
Maintain 100% transparency and accountability
Any other task assigned by management
. Completion of formal education up to grade 12th High School (minimum) with relevant
vocational training knowledge is a must.
2. Required: university degree preferably in marketing business administration, international
development or social sciences education and a discipline with a strong socio-economic
development background.
3. Having work experience as a vocational trainer NGO/INGO will be required;
4. Between 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role is preferred; a plus if it has been in
vocational training;
5. Have familiarity with English will be preferred and must be excellent in local languages;
6. Have the ability to work for long hours and under pressure; and
7. Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
