Job Description

Generic Responsibilities:

  1. Support NRC’s Agresso HR/procurement/finance systems processes in NRC Afghanistan and the implementation of the modules in new NRC office.
  2. Ensure that the system is managed in line with NRC procedures.
  3. Provide users support and troubleshooting which includes on-line support, password resets, user administration, user rights management, account amendments & workflow management.
  4. Run routine to create requisitions into purchase orders.
  5. Log systems bugs and follow their resolution with the Agresso Global team. Follow also request of system development.
  6. Monitor and alert on slow moving PR & PO.
  7. Develop training materials and tools & deliver training to diverse group of users (program & support staff)
  8. Take responsibility for coaching and development of the key User (Agresso Focal Points) in each area office.
  9. In charge of the supplier data base and asset management Document database.
  10. Raise issue, suggest changes and input on suggested system changes to improve user experience on the system
  11. Monitor and alert on slow utilization of resources into the various grants and alert budget holders, HoP and HoS accordingly monthly.

Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute and develop Agresso support/service desk as a support service in NRC Iraq to meet needs and gaps in the other departments. Develop these areas according to NRC finance and logistics policies and procedures.
  2. Assist the Focal point between the Region, Oslo and Agresso for all related Agresso technical problems
  3. Assist with any other duties assigned by the support managers and when required.
  4. Critical interfaces
  5. By interfaces, NRC means processes and projects that are interlinked with other departments/units or persons. Relevant interfaces for this position are:
  6. Cooperation with HR/Logistics/Finance/ICT Managers and Coordinators
  7. Cooperation with Programme and other Support functions
  8. Cooperation with AM’s and finance and logistics teams at area levels
 

Job Requirements

Generic Professional Competencies:

  1. Broad experience from working within ICT/Finance and Logistics in a humanitarian/recovery context
  2. Experience in MISs such as QuickBooks, Peach-tree, Tally
  3. BBA or equivalent degree
  4. At least 3 years of experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
  5. Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
  6. Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile
  7. Fluency or working knowledge in English, both written and verbal

Context related skills, knowledge, and experience:

  1. Knowledge of the context in the areas NRC operates
  2. Behavioral competencies
