Job Description

Participate in and support effective functioning of SIA Operations Working Group with a focus on coordination and communication across partners.

Optimize Government functions in support of implementation of SIAs including identifying issues and developing/implementing solutions in coordination with NEOC Director

Liaise with PHDs, REMTs and PEMTs for quality implementation of SIAs, and course correction interventions

As part of SIA Operations Working Group, coordinate the deployment and activities of national monitors – develop summary reports, identify critical issues, develop/implement solutions, and provide regular updates to NEOC Core Group.

Develop and maintain chronogram for pre, intra and post campaign activities in coordination with SIA Operations Working Group, REOCs, and other relevant MoPH and Government departments

Support preparation and actively participate in NEOC/REOC campaign review meetings and develop/implement operational plans based on review recommendations

Monitor campaigns in high-priority districts, work with local teams to develop and implement solutions, and report back to NEOC

Develop and pilot innovative ideas, participate in brainstorming sessions, and offer operational recommendations and solutions.

Undertake tasks as assigned by NEOC Director and Core Group

Job Requirements

BA degree in Management or Health, Master or Doctoral degree will be preferred.

· At least 4 years related experience.

· Ability to design and implement innovative steps for operational efficiency.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills and Afghan languages as well as English language.

· Proper judgement skill in resolving issues.

· Being professional, disciplined and transparent.

· Able to cope with stress and meet deadlines.

· Flexible in working hours and working on off-days.

· Positive, proactive, and motivation attitude
