Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the procurement process, including preparing and issuing requests for quotations, conducting bid evaluations, and preparing purchase orders
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of project assets and supplies
Assist in the transportation of project materials and equipment to training centers and other locations as needed
Support the setup and maintenance of training centers, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary materials and resources
Assist in organizing and coordinating training sessions, workshops, and events
Ensure compliance with project procurement policies, guidelines, and procedures
Monitor and report on the status of project assets, supplies, and equipment
Assist in tracking project expenses and maintaining financial records related to logistics
Provide logistical support to project staff and trainers as needed
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies and community organizations, to facilitate logistical arrangements
Ensure that all logistical activities are conducted in a manner that is consistent with ethical and professional standards

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in logistics or procurement, preferably in a development or humanitarian context
Knowledge of procurement processes and procedures
Familiarity with inventory management systems and techniques
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Proficiency in local languages and English
Sensitivity to the needs and challenges faced by recovered drug users
