Just for Afghan Capacity and Knowledge (JACK) is an independent, Non-Governmental, Non-Profit, Non-Political and Non-Sectarian Organization working in Afghanistan in the areas of Capacity Building Education and Health with an aim at improving livelihoods and alleviating poverty. The organization is re-registered under the Ministry of Economy with registration number, 316 of January 18, 2006. The organization works in Collaboration with other line Ministries, NGOs, INGOs, and donor community. Our donors are USAID, UN, OCHA and Ministries.
Job Purpose
The Provincial Community mobilizer for the Basic General Literacy project funded by UNESCO is responsible for the overall project efforts with regard to mobilization and awareness raising activities at the community level. The project intends to provide literacy opportunities for Afghans over 15 years previously excluded from education to have the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values they need to be productive, healthy, and responsible citizens prepared to contribute to the welfare of society and equipped for viable employment in the national market. This will be primarily achieved by building the capacity of literacy facilitators in the target districts.
