About BARAN

Bu Ali Rehabilitation and Aid Network (BARAN) is a nongovernmental, non-political and independent organization. BARAN has been established in 27.7.2006 registered with the Ministry of Economy (MoEc), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Ministry of Education (MoE) , Ministry of labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD), Ministry of Justice (MoJ)  in order to deliver standard health care, social and educational services including conducting researches. Special attention is given for the community development by promoting capacity building programs.

 

Job Description

Project M&E Officer is responsible to develop the monitoring & supervision/ joint monitoring plan and follow up of action plan; set targets for each activity and progress follow up, monitor the progress of the project in terms of achieving the targets, objectives and ensuring the quality and accuracy of data. The M&E will provide reliable, accurate and timely information and prepare reports and provide feedback for planning and decision-making. The salary includes gross taxable salary only. Job Requirements

  • MD degree/Medical background
  • Experience of working at least three years, preferably with UN or INGOs.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience at field of health;
  • MD;
  • Strong communications skills;
  • Fluent English, Pashto, and Dari with excellent speaking and writing skills
  • Proficient computing skills – word processing, spreadsheet design and presentations
  • Other skills required:
  • Efficiency, result-oriented and excellent management capabilities;
  • Problem solving/ conflict resolution;
  • Respect confidentiality of organization;
  • Ability to travel around the country;
  • Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and harsh conditions; ability to handle confidential and politically sensitive issues in a responsible and mature manner;
  • Excellent capacity development and teamwork skills; cross-cultural and gender sensitivity;
  • Ability to use information technology effectively.
