About Move Welfare Organization

MOVE is a National humanitarian, independent, non-political, non-sectarian organization which is aiming for an equitable & quality standard health care for all Afghans throughout its endless effort to response to highly vulnerable group, mother & children, who are victim of various deadly diseases as well as having the high rates of morbidity & mortality in the country.

The policy of MOVE is to conduct the activities honorably and ethically, in the illumination of public accountability and consistency with applicable laws, rules, guidelines and practices to non-governmental agencies.                         
 MOVE Welfare Organization has been founded in 2005 by a group of professionals in health care management. MOVE was registered with Ministry of Economy (Reg. No. 45) & signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ministry of Public Health on 21.11.2005 (MoU No. 05). Since January 2011, STEP Health and Development Organization Merged with MOVE Welfare Organization and working as on entity under the name of MOVE Welfare Organization.

Job Description

        Responsibilities:

  • Make sure that the Organization’s policies, guidelines, procedures and manuals regarding the program and staffs are implemented.
  • Follow up of malaria grant’s (objective, Indicator, deliverables, Budget and resources) and project implementation toward its goal and objectives.
  • Division of tasks for each project staff, ensuring appropriate implementation, supervision, M&E, and quality improvement (TA).
  • To follow HQ developed monitoring plan and travel the targeted province.
  • Employees, Motivation, support, oversee, Control, Capacity building, Follow up for the assign task for timely achievement of project's deliverables.
  • Linkage of malaria project plan activities with BPHS projects for achieving projects goals and objectives.
  • Compiling projects reports and deliverables in line with donor requirements and submission to UNDP.
  • Compile quarterly and annual reports to be submitted to the HQ and donors.
  • Responsible for developing, coordinating and an overall supervision of Malaria project at Kabul and Daikundi provinces.
  • Monitor and evaluate the projects activities on regular basis and submit report to HQ and provincial PMs.
  • Participate in related health related meetings and workshops/seminars.
  • Represent ORGANIZATION in all relevant inter-agency meetings.
  • Do whatever related job is delegated by the supervisors.
  • Assist on Preparation of the new program proposals.

Job Requirements

  • At least three years’ experience in project management.
  • Experience in supervision, monitoring and evaluation of the projects.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual and work in a multicultural environment.
  • Good  oral and writing skills in English
  • Knowledge of and experience in training and capacity building
