Job Description

Job Summary:

Under direct supervision of the Program manager, the incumbents will be responsibly running the all-project activity including planning, communications & supervision.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Implementation
  • Develop work plans monitor progress of the project and prepare all types of required reports.
  • Manage and oversee all project staff and project activities and make sure on time implementation.
  • Ensuring existence of M&E plans; reports
  • Tracking the project progress and to ensure the activities are being implemented according to the work plan and objectives.
  • Develop necessary tools for monitoring and evaluation of the project activities and ensure monitoring and evaluation systems reporting and quality controls are in place.
  • Facilitating/ supporting the national staff and donor staff in monitoring and evaluating the project.
  • Give on time technical and other assistance to the project staff and stakeholders. 
  • Any other tasks and duties assign by the project manager.

2. Administrative

  • Sharing and resolving problems and needs of project and project staff with program.
  • To ensure relevant government departments and donor agency are updated on project activities and its involvement confirmed in project activities.
  • Direct control and motivate the team ensuring that they have clear objectives and receive meaningful feedback on their performance.
  • Reporting to Head of Program and programs coordinator on project activities.
  • Conducting meetings with all line departments, donor agency, and community members regarding implementation and other related issues.
  • Manage closely all project activities in project provinces.
  • Monitor and manage all distributions analyses data make sure on time provision of services.

3. Coordination

  • Keep sufficient and proper coordination mechanism with relevant stakeholders and line departments.
  • Avoiding the inappropriateness or conflict with cultural beliefs of groups within the target communities.
  • Contact with community elders, local Shura members and other community influential people in participatory way to operate in a very efficient and coordinated manner.
  • Strengthen coordination between project staff and stakeholders.

4. Financial management

  • Ensure effective and efficient utilization of project budget under responsibility for intended purposes.

5. Logistic

  • Arranging and managing logistics administration and transportation aspect/needs of project and project staff with the logistics department.

6. Data Management & Reporting

  • Organize and maintain project documentation in hard and soft.
  • Jointly work with project staff in preparing the data on the proper aspect.
  • Document the lessons learned and case studies and share with project staff and other stakeholders.
  • Regular on time Reporting to the Line Managers on the roles and responsibilities given/ project implementation.
  • Ensure effective documentation of the program and progress by capturing lesson learnt and good practices.

7. Other

  • Participate in training workshops meetings project events held in any provinces.
  • Visit project sites and monitor all activities.
  • Respect and adore all policies of KRO code of conduct.
  • Maintain 100% transparency and accountability.
  • Any other task assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • At least Bs degree in project management, administrative or other relevant degree (Higher degrees are preferred)
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in relevant field especially in development projects
  • Having work experience NGO/INGO will be preferred;
    Must be excellence to MS office package and reporting
  • Must be excellence at English and local languages
  • Have the ability to work for long hours and under pressure; and
    Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
