About Move Welfare Organization

MOVE is a National humanitarian, independent, non-political, non-sectarian organization which is aiming for an equitable & quality standard health care for all Afghans throughout its endless effort to response to highly vulnerable group, mother & children, who are victim of various deadly diseases as well as having the high rates of morbidity & mortality in the country.

The policy of MOVE is to conduct the activities honorably and ethically, in the illumination of public accountability and consistency with applicable laws, rules, guidelines and practices to non-governmental agencies.                         
 MOVE Welfare Organization has been founded in 2005 by a group of professionals in health care management. MOVE was registered with Ministry of Economy (Reg. No. 45) & signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ministry of Public Health on 21.11.2005 (MoU No. 05). Since January 2011, STEP Health and Development Organization Merged with MOVE Welfare Organization and working as on entity under the name of MOVE Welfare Organization.

Job Description

5. Follow the regular standards of technical issues with considering academic medical standards of FHH objectives
5. Represents MOVE and the FHH project at all levels including communities, government agencies and other organizations by attending meetings, sharing information and providing feedback when requested
5. Support the programs by regular monitoring and evaluating system.
5. Support the procurement of medical and non-medical items necessary to program activities.
5. Coordinate technical issues with consortium, PHD, MoPH, UN and partners Organization with cooperation of Health director and Program Manager.
5. Over view of project departments activity in line with the projects objectives and goal
5. Provide Technical supports for project staff
5. Responsible to frequent travel to ORGANIZATION field sites.
   5. Program planning with ORGANIZATION, MoPH, local partners and community.
   5. Develop accurate supervisory and monitoring system.
   5. Develop and follow up MoPH policies reflected in Basic Package of Health Services.
   5. Coordinate activities with the technical supervisors on program aspects.
   5. Key negotiation and agreements with MoPH, communities and local authorities.
   5. Provide guidance on the management of all human and material resources linked to the project.
   5. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annually project reports.
   5. Responsible for evaluations of program staff regarding the needs and quality service providing.
   5. Develop concrete evaluation indicators for the program.
   5. Ensure the freedom movement and security of the staff all time.
   5. Maintain the autonomy of ORGANIZATION to employ staff on a merit bases free from ethnic discrimination.
   5. Tracking of financial work plan with the project plan activities
   5. To represent ORGANIZATION in all related issues
   5. Primary focal point between MOVE and Provincial Public Health directorate, Director of economy (DoE), Basic Package of Health Service (BPHS) implanter NGOs and other organizations implementing similar projects.
