Job Description

Under direct supervision of the Project Director, the Project Coordinator has the overall responsibility for the execution of AHF project against the agreed objectives and within the agreed budgets in Ghazni.
Coordination of project activities in collaboration with regional health cluster, Provincial Public Health Directorate (PPHD), PHCC members and community;
Responsible for the planning, implementation and training activities;
Monitoring of health sub-centres
Ensuring that “Do No Harm” practices are incorporated and upheld throughout the planning and implementation of the project.
Liaise with Ghazni technical deputy project director to develop and implement effective supervision and monitoring systems that will allow gaps and constraints identification;
Prepare accurate report according to project objectives and submission timely;
Ensure proper pharmacy management of health sub-centres that includes consumption, supplies, stocks, rational use of drug etc...
Meet regularly with health shuras, community leaders and other stakeholders, to ensure project effectiveness and community involvement in project implementation;
Responsible for safety and well-being of all team members in conjunction with Ghazni project director;
Maintaining good working relations with key actors.

Job Requirements

Registered medical doctor with two three-year experience in project management , BPHS supervision and monitoring;
Proficient in MS office (esp. excel and world);
To be local resident;
Must have working knowledge of English;
Willingness and ability to travel to remote health facilities and villages;
Fluency in written and spoken local languages;
Knowledge of local environment;
