About Youth Health and Development Organization (YHDO):

YHDO is a non-governmental and non-for-profit organization established in 2009, registered with ministry of economy in Afghanistan. YHDO works with interdisciplinary professionals to develop and implement innovative, culturally appropriate, evidence based interventions.

 

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medicines accurately to patients according to prescriptions provided by the medical doctor.
  • Provide information to patients regarding the proper use of medicines.
  • Ensure that all medicines are stored properly and securely.
  • Maintain accurate records of all medicines and supplies.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks of medicines and supplies.
  • Collaborate with the medical staff to ensure that patients receive the appropriate medicines and treatments.
  • Provide guidance and support to other health centre staff regarding pharmaceutical matters.
  • Ensure that all pharmaceutical activities are conducted in accordance with ethical, legal, and professional standards.
  • Prepare monthly stock IN and stock out reports.
  • Maintain and manage stock database.
  • Attended meetings inside DIC and outside as per need.
  • Perform any task assigned by line manager.
