Job Description

  • Develop content production planning for the project in collaboration with Beporsed team.
  • Produce engaging multimedia (video, audio and written) content for Beporsed’s digital platforms
  • Produce brand marketing videos, graphics and articles/reports that tell the story of Beporsed
  • Draft text-based content based on the data provided by team members for Beporsed website and digital platforms considering the best practices for social media
  • Brainstorm engaging, innovative and interesting content ideas for Beporsed online and offline audience/ clients.
  • Develop innovative content briefs that involve creativity and knowledge of social media platforms
  • Camera video and photo shoot, record, edit and produce multimedia contents particularly video clips, and also occasional requirement to narrate and present scripts
  • Assist the team, particularly the Graphic Designer, Motion Graphic Designer and Media Monitoring Specialist to edit and create engaging graphics and contents for use on Beporsed’s digital media channels
  • Check, identify and update all out of date information available on Beporsed website and social media platforms
  • Ensuring the project captures the latest information needs and trends among Afghans inside and outside the country
  • Other related tasks and assignments as required.
 

Job Requirements

  • A university degree in Journalism, Art, Media, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4years of experience in media and communications
  • Strong communication, community engagement and customer satisfaction skills
  • Excellent knowledge/understanding of the Adobe creative cloud including Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition and Adobe illustrator
  • An in-depth knowledge of the workings and fundamentals of social media video formats and trends (including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok)
  • Knowledge of pre-production process, from brief creation to commissioning video and photo productions
  • Visual content including graphics for social media platforms to increase engagement
  • High emotional intelligence, respect for people of all walks of life, team player, flexible and able to handle pressure,
  • Excellent in writing, reading, speaking, and understanding of Dari, Pashto and English languages.
  • The position holder will be based on Kabul-main office and will travel to provinces under the coverage of IRC based on the requirements of the project.
  • Strong computer proficiency and well acquainted with basic software tools - can navigate autonomously in extensive Adobe Creative Suite, Windows, Android, Skype, Microsoft Suite and Google docs.
  • Experience in still photography, filming, and video editing
  • Proficiency in copywriting and editing
  • Strong working knowledge of all major social platforms and the technical and stylistic requirements for optimized posting on each
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines, establish priorities and organize / handle a variety of projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrate knowledge in the principles of communications, information, and public relations
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify problems and provide sound recommendations to solve existing problems
  • Plan tasks and perform the duties by coordinating with other team members
