Job Description

Job Purpose:

The position holder is expected to learn about IMC and the MHPSS interventions within the organization’s scope of work in addition to understanding the MHPSS literature and work in humanitarian context, program approaches and enhance their knowledge of basics of MHPSS M&E.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Administrative:

  • Assist the department with organizing and management of the SharePoint and online filing including project documents,
  • Support the department with administrative necessities including following up with HR, travel authorization, finance, logistics, security.
  • Support with scheduling bi-weekly intra-team coordination meetings,
  • Liaise with the PSCs in the field and share notes with the coordination team in Kabul.

Technical:

  • Assist in preparation of presentation, training, meeting minutes in view of the occasion.
  • Support the psychosocial counsellors in monitoring tools and training remotely under the support and supervision of MHPSS coordination team in Kabul.
  • Keep track of the project achievement and draft basic statistical analysis of the project achievements in a spreadsheet.

Perform any other duties in line with the classification and requisite of the position.

  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct, maintain humanitarian principles and respect international humanitarian law.

Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse:

  • Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards within International Medical Corps and amongst beneficiaries served by International Medical Corps.

Compliance & Ethics:

  • Promotes and encourages a culture of compliance and ethics throughout the International Medical Corps. As applicable to the position, maintains a clear understanding of International Medical Corps and donor compliance and ethics standards and adheres to those standards.  Conducts work with the highest level of integrity.

Fresh graduate or graduated in past two year

Competency:

  • Strong interpersonal, networking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with Ms. Office package (e.g. word, excel)
  • Speaking skills: English, Dari and/or Pashto

Desire to continue in the field of MHPSS and motivation to learn
