BBC Media Action Afghanistan is delivering projects on empowering local media, journalists and aid workers learn how to undertake effective communications to reach and engage with local communities.
Overall Purpose of the Job
Reporting to the training manager, the media trainer will help partner media organisations, local journalists and community aid workers learn and deliver lifeline programmes and assist them develop quality programmes and communication packages in their daily output that can inform, empower and connect local communities. He/she will be responsible for the capacity building of our partner radio stations in provinces which broadcast to affected communities.. He/She will use the insights from research into training needs, and expertise on best practice in building the capacity of local media outlets.
