Job Description

The Duties and responsibilities may include but not limited to:

Regularly checking the WCUK electrical system of the buildings inside and outside, including the electrical system of the guest house, warehouses.
Will be responsible for Generators basic checks such as checking hours of usage, fuel control, turning on and turning off.
To know Diesel Generators systems and maintenance.
To do the responsibilities in the area of wiring and installation of new bulbs and maintenance of existing electrical system.
To check the plumbing system of the current WCUK infrastructure in Herat office, Guest Houses and Warehouses.
To extend/cut pipelines of the washroom/toilets and kitchens in all buildings.
To do maintenance of the ACs.
To do ACs cleaning, gas filing, and other measures which enable the AC to work.
To work as maintenance worker and carry about 25 Kgs weight required.
During free hours to help/support the team members on different office tasks.
Perform other related duties as required.
Contribute to creating a culture committed to the safeguarding of children and adults and compliant to War Child’s Child Safeguarding and Adults at Risk Policies.

Job Requirements

To have work experience of 1 – 2 years as maintenance worker in NGOs, or Private firms.
Excellent local communication and facilitation skills (oral and written).
If holder of high school degree, preference will be given.
