Community Action for Healing Poverty Organization (CAHPO) is Afghanistan-based NGO (www.chapo.com ) has been established in 2013 by a group of expertise in support of professional advisers and volunteers in response to the needs. was that people affected by different means of violence should be involved in decision-making for positive change in the development process of the country. 

CAHPO is a member of different coordination bodies E.g ACBAR where we share our programs with other NGOs and partners.  CAHPO is an active partner of UN OCHA, AHF, and FAO.

Job Description

1- To manage and provide all material needed as per request.
2- To facilitate transportation of material to the project site.
3- Ensure that all purchases are made in a cost effective manner and in accordance with Afghanaid policy and procedure
4- To manage Transportation arrangements in Helmand procince.
5- Provide Copies of all necessary Document for vehicle movement within CAHPO.
6- Manage Logistic Impress.
7- Support logistics Coordinator as required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurements of all CAHPO needs and requirements.
2. Arrange roads and air transportations of Goods and personals in CAHPO as requested by relevant line Manger or Director in accordance with Policy and Procedures.
3. Repair and Maintenance of CAHPO vehicle.
4. Assignee vehicle to deriver. Ensure they are familiar with relevant stat up and vehicles maintenance routines tools and kits and spare.
5. Instruct drivers on assignment, including routs, equipments to carry documents and security timetables
6. Negotiate transportations contracts as necessary according to CAHPO’s policy and procedures; ensure proper monitoring and payment systems.
7. Report accident immediately to Security Officer ,submits written incident report immediately
8. Check all registrations and taxations of all vehicles in CAHPO are up to date and appropriate copies are carried in vehicles.
9. Pay causal contractors for transportations after approved of complete works
10. Submits Expense record sheets or payment request from and clearance of advances in the ends of day or Week.
11. To Manage Head office Store
12. To Assist Logistics Coordinator in preparation of budgets for Vehicle cost and maintenance.
13. To performs any other related duties as requested by line manger Or Director.

 

Job Requirements

Ability to provide guidance to his/her supervisees.

Willingness and ability to perform admin and finance-related matters of CAHPO’s Tirinkot office.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field: public administration and or finance.

Previous working experience in admin and finance preferably FAO projects.

Good problem-solving and organizational skills.

Demonstrated abilities in planning, organizing, analysis and financial reporting.

Ability to interact effectively with personnel.

Fluent in spoken and written English, as well as a local language.

Excellent computer skills. 

Strong team player.
