About Organization for Research & Community Development (ORCD )

Organization for Research & Community Development (ORCD) is a Non-governmental, Non-political, Non-profitable and independent organization founded in 2010 by a group of community development and research specialist. The aim of the organization is to contribute to the development of Afghanistan as an integral part of the international community. It envisages accomplishing its aims by building local capacities, generating evidence in various disciplines, promoting evidence-based on best practices and implementing development projects aimed at community development at the grass root level. ORCD is a multi-donor funded NGO, implementing health, agriculture and community development projects in several provinces of the country.
ORCD would like to implement Mobile Health and Nutrition Services (MHNT) Logar province funded by (UNICEF) for which it would like to seek qualified people.

Job Description

  • Prepare a training plan for the whole period of the life skill training she is assigned to provide training on, showing the daily work performed by the trainees and the trainer herself.
  • Request the training materials on monthly basis to the BHDC In-Charge and maintain a record of the training materials in the BHDC.
  • Support the project team in preparing a detailed list of the trainees in the BHDC.
  • Provide life skill training to the beneficiaries (20 women or more in a BHDC) according to the curriculum.
  • Maintain the attendance sheet of the trainees and provide the required support to the project team.
  • Regularly identify the latest designs demanded in the local market/nearby provincial/regional market and provide training on those designs to the life skill trainees.
  • Support the trainees in establishing their own business on graduation form the vocational training.
  • Repaired the monthly report for the line manager
  • End of each week they should short exam of each of the trainee
  • Any other task assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements

  • Be Afghan
  • Bachelor's Degree in social sciences and Law
  • Having 2-3 years’ experience in relevant field.
  • Able to speak in Pashto, Dari and English.
  • Knowledge of computer MS office in word, excel, power point, internet, and outlook.
  • Able to work in the fast-paced environment.
  • Able to go to the field
