Job Description

Job Description:

Functions:

  • Responsible of all the IT materials belonging to ASLO in his base.
  • Responsible of the work of all the persons working in IT department (assistant).

 Duties and Responsibilities:

Staff Management:

  • Control and check daily the work of all the persons under his responsibility
  • Organize the weekly and the daily work of his department
  • Carry out a weekly meeting with the main persons responsible of his department

IT activities management: 

  • Implement the digitalization for all department in all bases.
  • Support the numeration strategy country wide.
  • Responsible to contractualize and follow up network and telecommunication    agreements.
  • Set up Network & E-mail connections.
  • Control of server to be running and keep stable.
  • Develop server access country wide.
  • Create back up of data in server.
  • Take the responsibility of all ASLO IT managements and requirements for the area.
  • Support the purchase of IT equipment’s.
  • Responsible for repairing & maintenance of broken IT equipment’s.
  • Responsible to visit ASLO bases in case of problems in computer stuff - emails, networks.
  • Prepare monthly IT Reports
  • Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Set up, maintain and develop telecommunication within ASLO.
  • Manage the phone credit and data, as well as its distribution.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
  • Replace parts as required
  • Possibly training more junior staff members
  • Perform other duties requested by his/her supervisor

Filing/Reporting:

  • At the end of each month, collect all information regarding each activity of his department          and submit them to head of Logistic.
  • Present a monthly report on activities of his department (web site, emails, trouble shooting, server …)

Any other issue to be written if necessary:

  • Doing other tasks based on need

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • At least a University degree in social science or relevant field is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in relevant field {working in IT operations}.
  • Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
  • Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think creatively in terms of tool and process development
  • Flexibility and adaptability to ever-changing needs and responsibilities
  • Ability to work both independently, and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English required
  • Ability to travel to the fields/provinces
