Job Description:

ROLE PURPOSE: To support the Manager HR – Learning & Talent Development in the effective delivery of the overall L&D Operations. Under the supervision of L&D lead, the postholder will provide continuous support in daily operations.

SCOPE OF ROLE:

Reports to: Manager HR – Learning & Talent Development  
Staff reporting to this post: No  
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:    
• Efficiently manage and update employee records for SCI mandatory trainings and F2F inductions through the LMS system and HR Hub.
• Contribute to successful implementation of Passport to Success (HR induction framework) with new employees and their line managers.  
• Follow up with new joiners, promoted staff, and their line managers on setting up the “Initial Performance Objectives” and timely management of “Probationary reviews”.
• Coordinate logistical support for capacity-building programs and process educational allowances while maintaining accurate records.
• Maintaining up-to date training report and training info in the HR Hub
• Maintain an up-to-date organogram for SCI functions and provincial offices.
• Monitor the effectiveness of capacity-building programs and provide comprehensive administrative support. 
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality learning and development support to field offices
• Contribute to overall well-being initiatives and promptly address inquiries, questions, and technical issues related to L&D.
• Proactively respond to tasks assigned by the supervisor and demonstrate flexibility in undertaking additional responsibilities.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS  
Undergraduate degree in HR, Business Administration with 1+ year HR L&D experience in with INGO and well-reputed organizations in Afghanistan.
 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
 

Essential Criteria

1+ year experience in HR L&D experience with INGOs and well reputed organizations in Afghanistan

  • Understanding of L&D standards, performance reviews and legislative principles, procedures and relating to employee management.
  • Administrative Skills: Strong organizational and administrative abilities to efficiently manage records, schedules, and logistics for training programs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with employees, trainers, and stakeholders. 
  • Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate records, reports, and program coordination. 
  • Collaboration: Team-oriented approach with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders 
  • Customer Service: Responsive and service-oriented mindset to address queries and provide support. 
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Understanding of HR Practices: Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices, especially in the context of learning and talent development.

Desirable Criteria

  • Professional Certification in HR or L&D
