(Overall Purpose Of The Job):
The HR Officer, Learning and Development will lead the Learning and Development (Training) function in HR in close coordination with other HR personnel under the supervisor of HOD - HR. S/he will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and conducting learning and development programs across the organization based on 70, 20, 10 ratios to leverage the current training-delivery capacities in AKAH, A. S/he Ensures the integration of the organization’s Vision, Mission and values throughout new and ongoing learning and development interventions.

(SPECIFICATIONS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS):
Education: Bachelor degree in HR Management, Business Administration or any other relevant field, additional qualifications in any Learning and Development disciplines will be an added asset.
Experience: A minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience working on Learning and Development (Training Coordination) preferably with an international development organization.
Skills: Good problem solving skills, interpersonal communication, written and verbal communication in English, knowledge of local languages, analytical skills
Technical Skills: Microsoft Office and HRIS
Personal Characteristics: Demonstrates high integrity, able to deal well with ambiguity, works well under pressure
KEY RELATIONS:
Internal relations: Management team, Training departments/sections of other AKDN agencies
External relations: Training institutions, universities and other vendors
