Job Description

Management Roles and Main Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning, Designing, and Implementation
  • Develop work plans monitor the progress of the project and prepare all types of required reports.
  • Manage and oversee all project staff and project activities and make sure on-time implementation
  • Ensuring the existence of M&E planes; reports
  • Prepare new project proposals & estimated budget for donors,
  • Tracking the project progress and ensuring the activities are being implemented according to the work plan and objectives.
  • Develop necessary tools for monitoring and evaluation of the project activities and ensure monitoring and evaluation systems reporting and quality controls are in place.
  • Facilitating/ supporting the national staff and donor staff in monitoring and evaluating the project.
  • Give on-time technical and other assistance to the project staff and stakeholders.
     

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Sharing and resolving problems and needs of project and project staff with the program.
  • To ensure relevant government departments and donor agencies are updated on project activities and their involvement confirmed in project activities.
  • Direct control and motivate the team ensuring that they have clear objectives and receive meaningful feedback on their performance.
  • Reporting to Head of Program and programs coordinator on project activities. 
  • Conducting meetings with all line departments, donor agencies, and community members regarding implementation and other related issues.
  • Manage closely all project activities in project provinces.
  • Monitor and manage all distributions analyses data to make sure on-time provision of services
  • Develop different formats forms for the smooth implementation of the project and for the best documentation
     

Coordination Responsibilities:

  • Keep sufficient and proper coordination mechanisms with relevant stakeholders and line departments.
  • Avoiding the inappropriateness or conflict with cultural beliefs of groups within the target communities.
  • Contact with community elders, local Shura members, and other community influential people in a participatory way to operate in a very efficient and coordinated manner.
  • Strengthen coordination between project staff and stakeholders
     

Financial Management:

  • Ensure effective and efficient utilization of project budget under responsibility for intended purposes. 

Logistics Responsibilities:

  • Arranging and managing logistics administration and transportation aspects/needs of project and project staff with the logistics department.

Data Management & Reporting Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain project documentation in hard and soft.
  • Jointly work with project staff in preparing the data on the proper aspect.
  • Document the lessons learned and case studies and share them with project staff and other stakeholders.
  • Regular on-time Reporting to the Line Managers on the roles and responsibilities given/ project implementation.
  • Ensure effective documentation of the program and progress by capturing lessons learned and good practices

 Other Responsibilities:

  • Participate in training workshops meetings and project events held in any province.
  • Visit project sites and monitor all activities
  • Respect and adore all policies of the KRO code of conduct
  • Maintain 100% transparency and accountability
  • Any other task assigned by management
 

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or similar 
  2. 5 years of Experience in a similar role.
  3. Additional certificates or licenses may be required.
  4. Sound knowledge of Engineering, construction, and design.
  5. Great leadership and organizational skills.
  6. Superb project management skills.
  7. Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects.
  8. Great written and verbal communication skills.
