Job summary:

The network infrastructure manager is responsible to establish and maintain connectivity between New Kabul Bank main office, branch offices, disaster recovery site, and other devices such as ATM machine, POS. The Network infrastructure manager would time by time conduct assessment of the network infrastructure to ensure that infrastructure is able to meet the demand of new applications, users and other devices. In coordination with Deputy CIO, ensure proper documentation and.

ensure that network policies are updated to meet the emerging challenges NKB faces. Maintain a good working relationship with vendors.

The Network Infrastructure Manager will be reporting CIO / Deputy CIO.

Job Description:

• Establish and maintain New Kabul Bank network infrastructure, TSM Infrastructure and services including but not limited to Production, Disaster Recovery site, UAT and ATM& POS connectivity.
• Monitor network capacity and performance, diagnosing and resolving network problems.
• Research, evaluate and recommend new technologies solutions to address emerging business and technical needs.
• Secure New Kabul Bank Information Technology Infrastructure from inside and outside threats and attacks.
• Design and implement networking resource plans for upcoming Hardware / Software.
• Plan, design, install and configure network devices in Production, DR site and in any other site initiated by New Kabul Bank.
• Ensure and Maintains updated back up of every Network device including network configuration.
• Preparing and maintaining full documentation of networking infrastructures.
• Handling security architecture and monitoring.
• Providing consultation during the planning and implementation of new technologies.
•  Supervises and provides technical leadership and guidance to technical staff; ensures compliance with policies and regulations, and ensures that all issues are addressed and resolved.
• Analyzing and defining network requirements, defining and maintaining network architecture and infrastructure.
• Maintain and configure New Kabul Bank VPN connections with internal and external stakeholders.
• Configuring, Maintaining and troubleshooting of MARS, ASA, ACE (Application Control Engine) and Core Routers.
• Configuring, Maintaining and troubleshooting of WhatsUpGold and ACS Server.
• Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot core, distribution and access Layer Switches.
• Ensure that Telecommunication room and Production data center compliance with relevant standards.
• Prepares the analysis of the capacity needs for network infrastructure.
• Prepare, conduct and Arrange in house capacity building training for staff members for Network-related trainings by involving senior staff.
• Responsible for interacting with Vendor for Technical Support (in need).
• Any other task assigned by CIO or DCIO.
• Develop, implement and timely review Network related policies and suggest changes to IT management according to current technological challenges and threats.
• Physical checkup of all the Network Devices and on call availability 24/7 and ensures 100% uptime and work as a team.
