HHOA’s vision is to provide opportunity for all to achieve fullest potential and participate in and contribute to all aspects of life with pride and dignity. Afghanistan has made significant progress in Education sector, as per officially confirmed statistics from the Ministry of Education, today there are over 9 million students of whom %39 are girls participating in formal education – including Public and private schools, Community Based Education (CBE) in Afghanistan.

However, there are still millions out of school children face many challenges in having access to quality education and learning opportunities. Girls in particular are more on the receiving end of these challenges with limited or no  access  to  education  in  parts  of  the  country.

HHOA works at gross root level  and has expertise in delivering programs such as education, vocational skills training, child protection, gender based violence, WASH in schools and communities, healthy communities, greening Afghanistan and alternative livelihoods over the years. 

Job Description

  • Set targets/develop plan & conduct reviews, help & coordinate with Project Coordinator to set their plan/ targets, to achieve set plan effectively, collate data, develop reports etc.
  • Assist the Project Coordinator annual, monthly, and weekly work plan for the smooth operation of activities at the district level. Closely monitor the district team’s outputs against these plans.
  • Support Project Coordinator to ensure that program activities are being followed according to work plans and operational manual of Project.
  • Undertake field visits, assessing situations, Providing feedback and necessary support to project Coordinate leading towards effective and quality self-help Groups
  • Review the progress of implementation and assists district staff in planning future activities in-line with quarterly, six monthly and annual work plans.
  • Regularly monitor the work of the Project Coordinator in the field, and provide feedback to the technical teams of HHOA, should be a need for trainings.
  • Prepare plan develop the Capacities of project Coordinator.
  • Keep himself/herself updated & informed with latest development in the sector and keep informed our team drawing external and in house/internal knowledge & experience, documenting it and integrating to the build the program further.
  • Coordinate responses to requests for information.
  • Contribute to developing and reporting of project reviews, assessments, surveys and other analytic or evaluation processes and Products.

Job Requirements

1. At least bachelor degree, (University degree) in social science or in similar fields is preferable.
2. 2- 3years of work experience in related field with national/international or any other reliable organizations.
