Community Action for Healing Poverty Organization (CAHPO) is Afghanistan-based NGO (www.chapo.com ) has been established in 2013 by a group of expertise in support of professional advisers and volunteers in response to the needs. was that people affected by different means of violence should be involved in decision-making for positive change in the development process of the country. 

CAHPO is a member of different coordination bodies E.g ACBAR where we share our programs with other NGOs and partners.  CAHPO is an active partner of UN OCHA, AHF, and FAO.

Job Description

1. Responsible for the timely preparation of files and documentation of the procurement department using MC formats and filing system. Documentation includes: Purchasing Documentation, Vehicle Consumption Sheets; 
2. Review quotations collected by CAHPO Procurement Department and prepare bid analysis documentation outlining costs and vendors;
3. Assist in the preparation of any/all CAHPO tender documentation;
4. Assist, as needed, in the translation typing and data-entry in Dari;
5. Assist Procurement Department in preparing summaries of financial activities; tracking all documentation and transactions through master lists on the procurement system and verifying accuracy;
6. Assist project staff, as required, in coordinating logistics and project activities;
7. Assist project staff, as required, in ensuring smooth coordination procurement and delivery processes;
8. Maintain thorough files of procurement activities according to specifications outlined in the CAHPO Procurement Policy Manual;
9. Have a clear understanding of CAHPO Procurement policies and procedures and uphold CAHPO standards of professionalism and confidentiality;
10. Assist, as required, in the daily administrative activities of the CAHPO transport pool. Specifically, driver/vehicle scheduling, tracking log books, routine and major maintenance  of the transport pool;
11. Assists P&L Management with asset management inside the CAHPO Kabul office and all field sites. Regularly updates asset register with changes and new acquisitions;
12. Updates electronic master list of CAHPO project assets and their specifics monthly;
13. Assist, as required, in the weekly and monthly financial and activity reports and verifying accuracy;;
14. Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to CAHPO and to not jeopardize its humanitarian mission.
15. Other duties as assigned.
