About Conflict Mitigation Assistance for Civilians (COMAC)

The Conflict Mitigation Assistance for Civilians (COMAC) activity, implemented by Blumont Global Development, Inc., provides comprehensive victims’ assistance (VA) to Afghan families affected by conflict. COMAC is designed to operate in all 34 provinces of Afghanistan. In addition to providing VA services, COMAC also builds the capacity of its staff and community volunteers to facilitate VA service provision, conducts outreach, and empowers Afghan civil society organizations (CSOs) to raise awareness among the Afghan public and their beneficiaries on the need for and the availability of VA services.

Job Description:

Blumont is seeking a candidate for the position of enumerator to participate in the data collection process for COMAC’s outcome assessment of public awareness on Victim Assistance for conflict affected families.

Specific Job Functions:

Conduct surveys and collect data through face to face interviews with beneficiary household members, including females.
Collect data using an online survey application.
Ability to review data and ensure data quality dimension.
Travel to the field (rural, urban, and insecure areas) and conduct surveys.
Identify household in the provinces within the targeted community for the study. The enumerator will conduct surveys based on pre-established survey protocols.
Prepare summary reports and analyses of survey data, including tables, and describe survey techniques and results.
Any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in social since, economics and mathematics.
4 Years professional experience in data collection, Surveys, and strong English language skills (written and Oral).
Responsible to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Complete familiarity with the cultural context of local language.
knowledge of business terminologies.
Excellent computer skills, particularly hands on knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint programs.
Ability to understand data quality dimensions and survey methodology.
Ability to use online application for the data collection.
Very good communication skills (Local languages).
