Job Description

Crowd Control is responsible for ensuring safe access of beneficiaries to the site and to avoid irregularities and disorders in the site of Distribution. She/he will be the problem solver for every upcoming situation. And he/ she will report to the Team /Project Manager.

 

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe access of targeted Households to the distribution site.
  • Organize beneficiaries into an orderly sequence.
  • Control entry to that day’s planned area of distribution.
  • Prioritize persons with specific needs.
  • Strictly avoid being subjective and treating beneficiary based on familiarity and discrimination.
  • High moral standards and behaving the beneficiary with respect and dignity
  • Assist in cleaning the distribution site after completion of distribution process.
  • Control a crowd, ensuring people do not cross to areas they are not authorized to access, follow the crowd's behaviour and responding to suspicious and violent conduct.
  • Maintains Beneficiaries’’ confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Any other duties as and when assigned by the line manager.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Education & Professional Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field is required.

Work Experience

At least 3 years’ demonstrable experience in social mobilization and crowed control, of which at least two years should be in managerial position with national or international organisations.
