About Community World Service Asia

Community World Service Asia is a regional non-governmental organization, which implements humanitarian and development activities in Asia. The Regional Representative heads the program in Asia. According to the strategic plan, the Head of communications requires A Communication & Data management Officer based in Kabul with frequent travel to field to assist in effectively providing visibility and promotion to all programs and projects.

Job Description

The job will require extensive field work along with desk work for intensive involvement in planning, coordination, conducting meetings and facilitation during trainings and other awareness activities at school and community level.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist project manager for implementation of project plans of education.
Conducting awareness raising sessions on importance of education and child right.
Observation of GEP teachers.
Keep in touch with trained teachers.
Developing and implementing monthly activity plans
Keep in touch with schools, community members (PTC, CDC and VECS)
Developing training materials and modules
Assist in translating the materials etc.
Plan organize and conduct five days teachers’ trainings
Reporting and documentation of project activates
Conducting coordination meetings with ED and other NGOs

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Qualification of Bachelors preferably in Social Sciences/development studies or in a relevant discipline.
Should be based in Jalalabad with a minimum of 2-3 years’ work experience in in field areas of Nangarhar or any other province

Languages: Very Good knowledge of all local languages.

IT: Basic computer and writing skills but should be familiar with email, outlook
