Job Description

Union Ais is looking for an experienced midwife to guide patients through their pregnancies and deliver their babies. The midwife's responsibilities include identifying high-risk pregnancies, referring patients to obstetricians as needed.. You should also be able to provide follow-up care to patients after labor.

Responsibilities:

  • Provision of ANC & PNC services.
  • Conduct normal deliveries in the health facility & taking care of mothers & newborns
  • Ensure labor room thoroughly clean and all required instruments to conduct a delivery properly sterilized
  • Health education to the clients
  • Provide maternal and child healthcare related information and counseling
  • Supervision of female community health workers
  • Perform any other related duty assigned by Medical officer
 

Job Requirements

  • Graduate from CME or reputable midwifery education
  • Two years practical experience in BPHS structure
  • Received Training  in related filed
  • Wilingness to work in Gayan Camp of Paktika
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge and fluently in Pashto/Dari and English languages
  • Team work spirit, disciplined, hard worker and capability to respond challenging conditions.
  • Being flexible regarding working hours.
  • Willingness to travel to the site areas
