We seek a reliable Construction Manager to join our team. In this role, he will be responsible for planning construction projects and overseeing their progress from start to finish in a timely and cost-effective manner. The Construction Manager's key responsibilities will include budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the projects. Also, he will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Your expertise in project management will be crucial in coordinating resources, resolving any issues that may arise, and delivering successful construction projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
2. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
3. Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
4. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
5. Select tools, materials, and equipment and track inventory
6. Review the work progress on a daily basis
7. Prepare internal and external reports of job status
8. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
9. Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses
10. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
1. Holding at least a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fields (having a higher degree is preferred.)
2. Proven 3-5 years of working experience in civil design engineering.
3. Proficiency in using engineering software like E-Tabs, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other similar tools.
4. Strong communication and presentation abilities in English and both national languages (Dari and Pashto), with the capacity to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing civil engineering design.
6. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
7. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
