Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE:

The purpose of the hiring this post is to provide support to Save the Children’s International program Asset & Inventory team and other supply chain team Kabul Country office.

This post holder contributes to ensuring that Save the Children’s commitment to improving quality and accountability in humanitarian work is upheld, through reference to Save the Children Quality Standards and the NGO Code of Conduct, and endeavors to provide effective support.

SCOPE OF ROLE:

Reports to: Asset & Inventory Coordinator

Staff reporting to this post: N/A

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Help to receive, store, transfer and issue assets and inventory in accordance with the SCI P&P manual.
  • Help with the physical count of assets and GPE.
  • Facilitate transfer of assets and inventory to the field office through UNHAS cargo and local transportation.
  • Receiving procured assets/GPE and consumables from procurement team.
  • Preparing and updating asset ID cards and personal asset issue forms which should reflect with the asset register.
  • Keeping office store in an organized and clean manner.
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS 

Bachelor Degree from any recognized university. 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Not requireq

Desirable

  • Principles and practices of the Public Administration and organization applicable to a local agency.
  • Capability of using Modern MS office Methods, practices, procedures, and equipment.
  • Utilizing Computer Software (MS. Office).
  • Well commend on local languages Dari and Pashto as well as English.
