Job Description

  • Coordinate and strengthening the relation with relevant stakeholder (Govt institutions and NGOs) to support BRAC in strategic planning, policy and program implementation in selected areas
  • Overall responsibilities for ensuring project facilitation and all activities in the respective area districts.
  • Ensuring qualitative survey and conduct needs assessment as required and community profiling as defined in the respective area districts.
  • Organize the Field staff to assign them to tasks and specific monthly and yearly plan in the respective area districts.
  • Technical support to the team how to conduct sensitization activities in the communities to create a more enabling environment for women and vulnerable groups to take up livelihood opportunities
  • Prepare reports for the line department of BRAC and area targeted districts governorate.
  • She/ He will support the participant who are currently not in any form of wage or self-employment will be matched to their preferred trades and enrolled them into the vocational training component and others
  • Participate in the weekly and monthly coordination meeting with the stakeholders involved with project.
  • Supervise the staffs, monitoring the project implementation and ensure the implementation of the project as defined in work plan.
  • Conduct meeting with  staffs and follow up field activities and provide regular feedback to maintain the quality.
  • Provide data to the other stakeholders as per their needs.
  • Provide support to their support departments and function as required
  • Provide performance management support to the staff
  • Coordinate with community leaders, community shuras, religious leaders, etc. on project deliverables 
  • Read, understand, practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
  • Any other tasks assigned by supervisor
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 to 4 years in relevant fields experience.
  • Knowledge and skills in implementation of the project.
  • Computer knowledge on MS Office, MS Excel and Power Point.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written in English and Pashtu/ Dari
  • Has good team management skill
