Job Description

Asia Community Development Organization (ACDO) is an Afghan non-governmental, non-political and non-profit humanitarian organization established in 2014 and registered with the Government Afghanistan, under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy (MoEc) with a mission to provide humanitarian and development assistance to the vulnerable, at-risk and underserved people throughout the country.

ACDO responds to the needs of disadvantaged and marginalized rural andS urban communities by managing and utilizing the available scars resources in a well, efficient, transparent and dignified manner to enhance resilience, boost access to education, ensure food and livelihood security, and promote social protection and inclusion.

ACDO has active presence at least in nine provinces in five regions of the country and intends to expand its operations to the remaining provinces as well with the aim to transform itself into a leading and developed organization which will deliver to and support significant number of people who had been affected by the long protracted and sudden on-set emergencies in Afghanistan. Regardless of the hardest circumstances that existed in Afghanistan in last few years, ACDO has managed to deliver humanitarian and development assistances in Balkh, Bamyan, Daykundi, Farah, Herat, Jouzjan, Kabul, Kandahar, Kunduz, Laghman, Nangarhar, Paktia, Takhar, and Wardak provinces.

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare staff requisition form and announce the new vacancies based on ACDO HR policy and procedure.
  • Download and Receive and longlisting CVs for vacant positions of the province
  • Screening all applications and contributing to its shortlisting/recruitment process along with coordination recruiting panel.
  • Support the main office HR Team in scheduling and inviting the potential candidates for written test and interviews for all type of employment categories ACDO head office, regional and provincial level.
  • Inform the security unit in advance and providing the list of candidates who will be called for written test and interview
  • Assist staff in day to day leave process and closely follow up their leave plan and record.
  • Generate and prepare staff time sheet on monthly basis.
  • Assist in maintaining, updating, personnel files and other related records, maintaining all HR forms and get these accurately filled-out by the new employees
  • Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly HR relevant reports and preparing monthly maintain of staff attendance sheet 
  • Assist HR Manager in a proper onboarding of new arrival with complete induction procedures and ensure exit formalities have taken place upon staff leaving.
  • Assist the HR Manager in day-to-day tracking system e.g., renewal of staff contracts, probation period evaluation/confirmation.
  • Assist the HR Manager in performance reviews, and disciplinary actions in compliance with ACDO rules and regulations.
  • Prepare logbooks for vehicles and printers related.
  • Prepare goods receiving forms in case of transferring goods to team/offices.
  • Prepare inventory list, serial number for office equipment.
  • Prepare agenda, minutes, attendance sheet of meeting participants.
  • Support procurement team in purchasing refreshment and stationery of workshops and meetings, making comparative table.
  • Prepare stationery and utility requests and follow up with relevant unit and employees
  • Prepare to staff travel authorizations, mission reports, invitations, mission letters, in coordination with the supervisor.
  • Draft the required memo, official letters and other required documents.
 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in BBA, Economic, law or any other relevant field 

Skills:

  • Ability to cope well under pressure, work irregular hours and meet tight deadlines
  • Sound organizational skills and ability to prioritize and deliver assignments in a timely manner often under severe time pressures
  • Deadline-oriented
  • Sound HR and Admin skills and ability to prioritize and deliver assignments in a timely manner often
  • Technical skills in HR management, preferably including recruitment and selection, learning and development, performance management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Afghanistan labor law
  • Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility to manage different tasks effectively and ability to work under pressure
  • Able to manage priorities, take initiatives and work without constant supervision
  • Ability and willingness to travel to the project sites within Afghanistan
  • Honest, proactive and well mannered.

 

Language skills:

  • Fluent (oral and written) in Pashto, Dari, and English.
