Job Description

We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures and reconciling bank statements. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with accounting advanced features and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.

Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity, and cash flows of our business.

• Managing records and receipts
• Reconciling daily, monthly, and yearly transactions
• Preparing balance sheets
• Processing invoices
• Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
• Supporting the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required
• Check accuracy and consistency of purchase documentation and validation before releasing payment
• Management of month-end close processes and time-table
• Maintain Concur system and manage necessary system changes
• Run Monthly reports for analysis and provide to Mgr for review
• Budget/Actual Analysis and other monthly review reports
• Assist in Various audits throughout the year
• Accurate and timely preparation of financial forecast including forecast review narratives, quarterly financial reviews, and review of cost models
• Analyze expenses of the department to find spending trends
• Provide management with advice and strategies to reduce expenses
• Supervising and mentoring of Finance Department team
• Develop best practices to be followed by team members
• Ensure reports are completed in a timely manner
• Management of company inventory
• Assist with financial projects as needed
• Additional projects as required
